The international food products company, Mondelēz Hellas S.A., has decided to recall a food product due to suspicions of possible foreign object presence.

In Albania, Emporio Ena imports and distributes products from Mondelēz Hellas S.A.

Noa.al, in communication with Emporio Ena sh.p.k., confirmed that the product recall has also been initiated in Albania.

Emporio Ena announced the recall of all quantities of Lacta Oreo 37-gram packaging with a expiry date of 18.08.2024, totaling 70 kilograms, from the Albanian market.

Additionally, Emporio Ena has notified sales points about the product recall.

However, in an informative letter from Mondelēz Hellas S.A. obtained by noa.al, it is stated that the decision to recall is for "specific batches of BAR LACTA 37G OREO due to possible foreign object presence".

This recall includes batches OSK0934651 and OSK0934652 with an expiration date of 18/8/2024.

Mondelēz Hellas S.A. emphasizes that this precautionary measure is limited to these specific batches and does not affect any other product.

The company also announced that they have taken steps to inform authorities, customers, and the media, demonstrating their commitment to product quality and consumer safety. /noa.al
